"The soul is the same in all living creatures, although the body of each is different." My interpretation of this quote by Hippocrates resulted in the creation of Body, Soul & Mind a series where I've given as much emphasis to the human figure as I have to the animal form. These three works combined are a whole idea whilst existing as individual works in themselves. The merging of the human figure with an animal reflection represents the physical manifestation of a series of observations that have intrigued me for some time. Body - follows the same thought process and has a tiger as the animal counterpart merging with the male torso. Various shades of red represent the idea of a body for me.
